Grace Chng is a seasoned tech writer, author and industry observer. She is Editor of a tech media portal News On Tech which seeks to elevate the tech intelligence of business leaders on emerging and frontier technologies.

Her expertise lies in her ability to join the dots on technology developments and explain the impact. She has written three books on Singapore’s tech journey.

She has covered major key tech events around the world and moderated panels on ICT, mobile technology and startups in Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul and London. She is passionate about diversity and inclusivity. She channels this passion into curating two women in tech lists. She is the co-founder and curator of the Asia Women Tech Leaders Award which seeks to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women technologists in Asia. Harish Pillay is a seasoned open source technologist with a profound impact on technology and policy in the Asia Pacific region. As the architect of Prospector, a key tool for evaluating the vibrancy of open source projects now incorporated into the CHAOSS community of the Linux Foundation, Harish has established himself as a leader in technological innovation. He currently leads the AI Verify Foundation focusing on community building to bring testability and accountability to AI solutions globally.

With a rich history at Red Hat Asia Pacific, Harish held the role of Chief Technology Architect, where he led engineering and sales efforts, helping the company achieve significant milestones including reaching global revenues of US$5 billion. His influence extends into academia as an Adjunct Professor at Nanyang Technological University, where he taught a comprehensive undergraduate program on open source technologies.

Kevin is the founder and CEO of Straits Interactive, which operates the ASEAN region’s largest network of privacy professionals: the Data Protection Excellence (DPEX) Network. 

Kevin contributes his vast knowledge and experience to the fields of Digital Transformation and Generative AI. He has played a pivotal role in the development of the company’s major AI initiatives, including the region’s first AI DPO Assistant, as well as in the areas of AI governance, Generative AI design, and prompt engineering. 

Recognised as an expert in data privacy and governance, Kevin authored the book “99 Privacy Breaches to Beware Of” and is also the official APAC trainer for both IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) and the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG). With several years of experience in management roles at Creative Technology, Sun, and Oracle, he combines his expertise as a music composer and multimedia producer to contribute to the company’s innovative efforts in the area of data privacy and AI.

I am an Associate Professor at SMU LKCSB, where I teach design communication courses. My current research focuses on conversational chatbots and AI product innovation, particularly on how to increase trust in human-computer interactions.

Lawrence was part of the pioneering team in MyRepublic and has held multiple key roles over the past 8 years overseeing the business and product development strategies of the company. 

Since 2023, Lawrence has served as the Chief AI Officer at MyRepublic. In this role, he spearheads the company’s AI initiatives, driving innovation and integrating cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Lawrence’s expertise in artificial intelligence ensures MyRepublic stays at the forefront of technological advancements, leading the way in the telecommunications industry.

Lawrence was also the Director of the Retail Division in MyRepublic Indonesia, and also the company’s Vice President of Marketing and Product. Reporting directly to the CEO, Lawrence managed MyRepublic Indonesia’s team of 1,600 staff, and oversaw the various operational, business and marketing strategies that served the company’s 120,000 subscribers.

Dr Lim Lai Cheng is currently an independent international education advisor. She has extensive experience in the Singapore Education System having been principal of three schools and held senior positions in the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
She was the founding Executive Director of SMU Academy.

Lai Cheng is a board member of the International Positive Education Network and Chairman of the Singapore Positive Education Network. She is also co-founder of the Global Alliance of Leading Edge Schools in Sustainability, a network of over 30 schools across the world. She is on the advisory board of non-profit education foundations in Riyadh, Johannesburg, Bratislava, Moscow, Cyprus, Stockholm and Indonesia. She chairs the advisory board of Principals Academy Inc. Singapore.

Michael Low serves as the Deputy Director of Curriculum Development & Digitalisation and Head of Finance & Technology Programmes at SMU Academy, the professional training arm of Singapore Management University (SMU). As a seasoned learning and development professional, Michael possesses extensive expertise in advisory services for learning and development, competency-based learning, curriculum design, talent programme management, facilitation, and the implementation of human capital development interventions.
A distinguished Singapore Public Service Commission scholar, Michael has held various roles at the Ministry of Education, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and the State Courts of Singapore before joining SMU. With over 18 years of comprehensive experience, Michael offers a valuable combination of skills, knowledge, and an extensive network to the organizations he collaborates with. In his role at the Academy, Michael is responsible for overseeing all continuing education programmes under the Finance & technology pillar. His collaborative efforts with academics, industry partners, and experienced practitioners contribute significantly to the creation of curriculum and content that addresses the dynamic learning needs of businesses and organisations across various industries, with a specific focus on finance, innovation and technology-related areas.

Veronica oversees the Safer Cyberspace portfolio in the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), where she leads the development of cybersecurity risk assessment frameworks to help organisations manage their digital risks. This led to the publication of the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust certification as national cybersecurity standards.

Veronica takes an active interest in emerging technologies and was previously involved in developing technology roadmaps for emerging tech such as AI and blockchain in the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). She is a Fellow with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and volunteers as a resource person to support the university’s Fintech teaching and research activities.

Before joining the public sector, Veronica was in a network engineering role, managing carrier-grade networks in a leading ISP.

Vikneswaran is Senior Manager, Development of Data-Driven Tech at the Infocomm Media Development Authority, focusing on AI governance and projects that unlock the value of data. He is also a member of the Technology Law Cluster in the Singapore Legal Service, where he deals with issues relating to Artificial Intelligence. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2016.
